Map Your Path to Birth - This interactive 4- or 6-week childbirth class typically covers 6 basic practices for healthy birth, labor coping and support, preparing your body for birth and postpartum, common interventions and their natural alternatives, practicing for labor, newborn care & breastfeeding. Additional topics covered on request may include minimizing the risks of an epidural, decisions and tools for a successful VBAC, the planned cesarean, vaginal breech birth, and homebirth. $250/couple
Short Cut to a Natural Birth - This one-day, four-hour class is tailored to the specific needs and requests of the group. It typically covers 6 practices for healthy birth, labor coping and support, common interventions and their natural alternatives; can also include minimizing the risks of an epidural, decisions and tools for a successful VBAC, the planned cesarean, vaginal breech birth, and homebirth. Can meet in instructor’s space or in your home; you receive a discount for each couple you recruit for your home class. $175/couple
Rainbow Birth (TM) for families who've experienced or are expecting a loss. This 8-week class covers the Map Your Path childbirth curriculum and adds extensive guidance in the emotional and physical experience of birthing after/expecting a loss, ideas for incorporating your lost baby into your birth experience and family, what to expect postpartum, partner relationships through pregnancy and birth after or expecting loss. Taught by loss mothers, with guest perinatal grief specialist. $350
Breastfeeding 101. Private in-home breastfeeding class covering everything you need to know to reach your breastfeeding goals, taught by Certified Lactation Educator. $100
Infant Massage Instruction. One-on-one infant massage instruction gives you the tools to connect with and soothe your baby. Infant massage improves digestion, facilitates bonding, and improves sleep. This class is available for individuals or groups and is appropriate for both expecting and new parents.
Postpartum Preparation Class. Learn how to survive and thrive in the days after baby's arrival! This two-hour discussion-style class will help families plan for the rigorous transition to new parenthood while recovering from birth. Led by professional postpartum doula Nicole Link-Troen, parents will be well versed in what to expect and how to prepare for their greatest adventure.
